Website Terms of Use
Version 1.2 · Last updated 23 October 2026 · Applies to www.yinfinite.com.au
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Yarra Pacific Pty Ltd (ACN 701 796 705, ABN 76 701 796 705), trading as Yinfinite Travel. Where these terms say "Yinfinite", "we", "our" or "us", they mean that company.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Yinfinite. "You" and "your" mean the person using this website.
You can reach us at:
- Email — hello@yinfinite.com.au
- Post — PO Box 4058, Balwyn East VIC 3103
- Website — www.yinfinite.com.au
Yinfinite is an independent travel advisory business based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Michelle Yin operates as an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. We arrange travel with third-party suppliers. We are not ourselves an airline, hotel, tour operator, cruise line or ground operator.
2. What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of this website — reading it, browsing it, and sending us an enquiry through it.
They are not the terms on which we arrange travel for you. If you go on to book travel through us, our Booking Terms and Conditions apply to that booking, and where the two documents differ on a booking matter, the Booking Terms and Conditions prevail.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
3. Using the site
You may read this website, print pages from it, and send us an enquiry.
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else's use of it
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site by automated means
- copy, reproduce or republish our written content, photographs, itineraries or trip descriptions for commercial purposes without our written permission
- submit false information, or another person's personal information without their knowledge
4. Our content, and content we licence
The written content, itinerary concepts, trip descriptions and branding on this site belong to us, or are used by us with permission.
Photographs and video on this site are either our own, or are licensed from stock libraries such as Pexels and Unsplash, or are supplied by official tourism bodies under a licence permitting their use. Where an image is used under licence, the rights of the original creator are unaffected by these terms.
You may quote short extracts of our written content with attribution and a link back to this site. Anything beyond that needs our permission first — just ask.
5. What the information on this site is, and is not
This site describes the kind of travel we arrange and the destinations we know. It is written to give you a sense of what is possible.
It is not a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of availability or price. Nothing on this site forms a contract with you. Travel arrangements are only ever confirmed in writing, by us, for a specific booking.
We take reasonable care to keep the information on this site accurate and current. Travel information changes constantly, though — routes close, hotels renovate, seasons shift, entry rules are rewritten. Before you rely on anything here to make a decision, check it with us or with the relevant official source.
Nothing in this clause limits the consumer guarantees described in clause 11.
6. Entry requirements, health and travel advice
Any reference on this site to visas, passports, vaccinations, health requirements or safety conditions is general information, not advice about your circumstances.
Entry requirements depend on your nationality, your residency, your route and the date you travel. You are responsible for checking them for yourself. The authoritative sources are:
- Smartraveller — the Australian Government's travel advice service
- the official website of the immigration authority of each country you will enter or transit
- your doctor or a travel medicine clinic, for anything health-related
7. Links to other websites
This site links to supplier websites, tourism boards, government sources and other third-party sites. We include those links because we think they are useful.
We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it. When you leave this site, the other site's own terms and privacy policy apply to you.
8. Enquiries you send us
When you send an enquiry through this site, we use the information you give us to respond to you and, if you go ahead, to arrange your travel. How we handle that information is set out in our Privacy Policy and in the collection notice shown on the enquiry form.
An enquiry does not create a booking and does not oblige either of us to anything. We may decline to take on an enquiry, and you are free to go elsewhere at any point before a booking is confirmed.
9. Availability of the site
We would like this site to be available all the time, but we do not promise that it will be. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a fault, or for reasons outside our control.
We do not promise that the site will be free of errors or that it or its server will be free of viruses or other harmful components. You should have your own security measures in place.
10. Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and the visitor analytics built into our website platform to understand how visitors use it. We do not use Google Analytics, and we do not run advertising or remarketing pixels. What we use, why, and how you can control it, is set out in section 11 of our Privacy Policy.
11. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
Among other things, those guarantees mean that services:
- must be supplied with due care and skill
- must be fit for any purpose you told us about
- must be supplied within a reasonable time
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a term of these terms of use would have that effect, it does not apply to you.
12. Our liability
This clause applies only to your use of this website. Liability in connection with a booking is dealt with in our Booking Terms and Conditions.
Subject to clause 11, and to the extent the law permits:
- we are not liable for any loss you suffer because you relied on general information on this site without checking it, where it was reasonable for us to expect you to check it
- we are not liable for loss caused by the site being unavailable, or by a fault in a third-party site we link to
- we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable
Where the Australian Consumer Law permits us to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee that is not a guarantee of a kind listed in section 64A(3), our liability is limited to supplying the services again, or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Changes to this site and to these terms
We may change this website at any time, including by adding, altering or removing content.
We may also change these terms. If we do, we will publish the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. The version published on the day you use the site is the version that applies to that use. A change to these terms does not affect a booking that has already been confirmed — that booking continues to be governed by the Booking Terms and Conditions that applied when it was confirmed.
If a change to these terms is material and we hold your contact details, we will tell you about it.
14. If something goes wrong
If you have a concern about this website or about anything we have done, please tell us first at hello@yinfinite.com.au. We take complaints seriously and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and give you a substantive response within 30 days.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you can take the matter to:
- Consumer Affairs Victoria — consumer.vic.gov.au, or the consumer affairs body in your own State or Territory
- the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission — accc.gov.au
- a court or tribunal with jurisdiction
For a privacy concern, our Privacy Policy sets out a separate pathway, including to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
If you are a consumer in another country, nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the place where you live, or of your right to bring a claim there where that law allows it.
16. General
- If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply
- If we do not enforce a term straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else without our agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole of the agreement between us about your use of this website.
